Who runs Beond

Co-founders Tom Feegel (CEO) and Talia Eisenberg. Medical care is led by Clinical Directors Dr. Eduardo Ramírez and Dr. Gibrand Noriega, both emergency and critical care physicians, with head of nursing Patricia Tovar, RN, and outside cardiology advisor Dr. Sidney Peykar, a cardiac electrophysiologist. The site lists almost a dozen full-time physicians and more than 40 nurses. Dr. Felipe Malacara, its chief clinical officer in July, no longer appears on its pages.

Beond is an operating clinic in Cancún as of our October 2026 check, with a 5.0 Google rating from 114 reviews. The most prominent clinic on the Caribbean side, with hospital-style staffing, continuous heart monitoring with QT alarms and published tiered pricing. Its medical leadership has changed since July. Read the 2022 incident coverage and ask the clinic what changed afterward.

Claims more than 4,000 guests across three Cancún facilities, with strong media coverage. Its FAQ cites a 2026 study of ibogaine deaths and notes that one author holds equity in Beond.
